Description, Sizing and Details

About the artwork: Limited edition original art print by Elliot Collins on 200gsm photographic paper with latex high pigment ink. Signed and numbered edition of 100. Print sold unframed. Images of the framed work are for visual inspiration. These prints hold poetry and memory close to their hearts. The colours are bright and joyful and the messages contained within both works speak to the human condition. 'There Are People', 2023, is about witnessing the essence or ahua of the people in our lives and I’ve used these metaphors to describe people. I am a person who dreams and there are some people who are and have been deep oceans and strong rivers in my life. There is also a great repetition within this work; I really wanted you to think about mountains and rivers and forests and oceans. About the Artist: Elliot Collins is a text based artist who works in an interdisciplinary way incorporating painting, language, photography, installation and sculpture to discuss ideas of time, memory and ways we interpret our environment. He is interested in the art that can inform our lives and can be used as a filter or divining tool to see the world we inhabit with greater clarity and purpose. Elliot Collins lives and works in Taranaki after moving from Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland in 2021. The move has given him an even greater perspective and insight as to the power and purpose of a creative practice and filling ones life with art and precious things of beauty. Return policy: Each limited edition print is signed and numbered by the artist and is therefore one of a kind and all sales are final and not eligible for change of mind returns. As with anything unique, there may occasionally be variations in the colours or details between the image of the print seen on Onceit and the print in real life. Rest assured, the colours of the real print are as the artist intended. If an artwork is damaged in transit, please contact us via email within 12 business hours of receiving your print and include photographs of both the damaged packaging and the damaged artwork. As each piece is original we will assess the situation on a case by case basis. Please note that it is your responsibility to inspect the artwork and check it has reached you safely and damage free. We recommend you do this before the courier leaves, and at least within 12 business hours of receiving it. If we determine that an artwork cannot be repaired, and should be returned, we reserve the right to inspect it at the time we receive it back, and we will not approve a refund if it appears that any damage has been caused by the customer. If a return is approved, return shipping is the responsibility of the seller. .
