This is our classic 3 eye shoe. The second style that Dr. Martens made, the unisex shoe was crafted for industry and made rebellious by generations of non-conformists. The 1461 is crafted with the same Doc's DNA as its 8-eye counterpart: grooved edges, yellow stitching and Smooth leather, a lightly textured, highly durable material with a soft sheen. It's built on our iconic, comfortable air-cushioned sole, that's oil and fat resistant, with good abrasion and slip resistance. Best of all, the sole is secured using one of the finest construction methods available: the Goodyear Welt. MATERIAL Airwairs original signature leather: a firm, finished leather with a smooth, semi bright appearance. CARE INSTRUCTIONS [Smooth] = Clean Away dirt using a damp cloth, allow to dry apply correct coloured wax based shoe polish to restore shine as desired. CONSTRUCTION This is a Goodyear-welted product. The upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, not merely glued like many footwear constructions.
